The aim of Primroses Care is to offer all service users with complex and enduring mental health problems, learning disability and autism the opportunity to enhance their quality of life in a homely and comfortable environment which is safe and secure. To further help achieve our aim we recognise the following values to be of the utmost importance :
Be treated with dignity and respect. Accept or refuse treatment and only be physically examined with consent. Be given information about any test and treatment options open to you, what they involve and their risks and benefits.
Our recovery focused model aims to help service users to look beyond mere survival and existence. It encourages them to move forward, set new goals and do things and develop relationships that give their lives meaning.
When we request permission to enter a service users' room, ask them how they would like to be addressed and explain to them who we are and what we plan to do, this all communicates respect for them as individuals.
We recognise and respect our service users choices and preference. We also encourage them to express their wishes and opinion.
We support our service users to manage their lives within the framework of the house and within the community and to be able to live indepedently.
We encourage and support our service users to participate fully in decision making that impact on their life, well being and their stay in the Home.
The primary objectives of Primroses Care is to support adults aged of 18 and above with complex and enduring mental health, learning disability and autism requiring rehabilitation, mental health monitoring, risk assessment and management, medication compliance and monitoring and symptoms improvement whilst living in the wider community and to maximise each service user potential for personal growth and fulfillment.
