Our homes are situated in a residential area of the London Borough of Redbridge. The Homes are ideally situated and easily accessible to the public transport network and local shopping areas. They are also close to Romford Shopping centre, Ilford Shopping Centre and a short bus ride to Stafford Shopping Centre and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.


Chadwell Home is fully registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide accommodation and Personal Care/Nursing Care in the community for people over the age of 18 with Enduring and Complex mental health problems, Learning Disabilities and Autism.


Public Transport:
Our homes are walking distance to Goodmayes Train Station. Access to London Bus Services is within 5 minutes walk from the Home, with routes to Dagenham, Barking, Romford, Manor Park, Forest Gate, Stratford, Beckton, Leyton, East Ham and Upton Park.
Traveling by Car?
We are easily accessible by car from the motorway network as follows:
  • From M11 Junction 4 – 6.2 miles, 20 minutes.
  • From M25 Junction 28 – 8.9 miles, 25 minutes.
  • From M25 Junction 29 – 8.8 miles, 25 minutes.
  • From A12 - 10 minutes
  • There is ample parking on Primrose Avenue and 2 parking spaces on the Driveway.

The homes are close to Redbridge Adult College and Barking and Dagenham College.
There are 2 libraries within walking distance and Ilford library is a short bus ride.
King George Hospital, Queens Hospital and Goodmayes Hospital are closed to the Home.
There are also 3 Gyms which are within walking distances from the Home.
There are Churches, a Mosque, Temples and Gurdwaras within walking distances from the Home.

BH

BH expressed that he feel safe, comfortable, and well supported in the care home. He reported that all personal needs are being met to a good standard and praised the staff for their respectful and caring approach. BH also felt involved in taking him to his preffered places mainly parks and shops,which gives him a sense of independence and inclusion. He mentioned that he is allowed to go out as per his choice without restrictions and to keep all his belongings along with him.Overall, BH is satisfied with the care and support he receive.

JB

JB shared that he feels comfortable and safe within the care home environment. He expressed that all his needs are being met and he is content with the support he receives from staff. He reported no concerns regarding his wellbeing and stated that he is satisfied with the care provided, which makes him feel secure and at ease in his daily life. He also highlighted that staff ensure he receives his favourite food items, which makes him feel valued and cared for. In addition, he expressed appreciation for how birthdays and special occasions are celebrated, including Christmas, Easter, and other religious activities, as these events help him feel included and give him a sense of belonging within the care home community. JB further shared that staff are very supportive and assist him with his personal care needs, including showers, pad changes, and maintaining the cleanliness of his room. He also acknowledged the encouragement he receives from staff to take part in activities such as games and gentle exercises, which contribute positively to his overall wellbeing. Overall, JB expressed satisfaction with the support and care provided, describing the staff as caring, respectful, and attentive to his needs.

DR

DR expressed that he is happy living in the care home and feels well supported by staff in all aspects of his daily life. He shared that the staff are very supportive and encouraging, particularly in helping him to do things independently, which makes him feel more confident. He mentioned that he receives support with shopping and enjoys being allowed to prepare his own meals, which gives him a sense of independence and choice. He further highlighted that special occasions such as Christmas are celebrated well within the home, which he enjoys taking part in. He also appreciated the way staff maintain and look after his room, ensuring a comfortable and clean environment for him. DR stated that he values the freedom he has to go wherever he wants at any time, as this allows him to maintain control over his own lifestyle and routines. Additionally, he praised the staff for their continuous support in practical matters, such as assisting with documents, escorting him to hospital appointments, and ensuring he receives his monthly injections. He also acknowledged the support from management, who provide financial assistance when needed, such as during times of shortage. Overall, DR expressed his satisfaction with the care, independence, and encouragement he receives, and feels secure knowing that staff are always available to support his needs.

The primary objectives of Primroses Care is to support adults aged 18 and over with complex and enduring mental health, learning disability and autism requiring rehabilitation, mental health monitoring, risk assessment and management, medication compliance and monitoring and symptoms improvement whilst living in the wider community and to maximise each service user potential for personal growth and fulfillment.
